This Cookies Policy (this “Cookies Policy”) explains how Nimmies (“Nimmies,” “we,” “us” or “our”) and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies when you access or use shopnimmies.com and its related pages and services (collectively, the “Services”), and the choices available to you. This Cookies Policy forms part of our Privacy Policy, which describes our processing of personal information more generally.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device and that is returned to that website on subsequent visits. Websites may also store information in your browser's local storage, which persists until it is cleared, and in session storage, which is cleared when the browser tab is closed. In this Cookies Policy, cookies and these similar technologies are referred to collectively as “cookies.” Cookies set by the website you are visiting are “first-party” cookies, and cookies set by any other party are “third-party” cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the operation of the Services, including the shopping cart, account sign-in and checkout, and cannot be disabled through the Services.
- Shopping cart
- A first-party cookie that retains the contents of your cart when you are not signed in. Duration: up to one (1) year.
- Authentication and security
- First-party and third-party cookies and local storage set by our authentication service provider to maintain your signed-in session, protect your account and confirm that new accounts are created by individuals rather than automated means. Duration: from the length of your session up to one (1) year.
- Fraud prevention
- Third-party cookies set by our payment processor, on checkout and payment pages only, to detect and prevent fraud. Duration: from thirty (30) minutes up to one (1) year.
- Bot protection
- Third-party cookies and browser storage set by our bot-protection provider when you send our message form, to confirm that the message comes from a person rather than automated means. Duration: from thirty (30) minutes up to one (1) year.
- Preview access
- A first-party cookie set only for individuals to whom we have sent a preview link prior to a product launch. Duration: thirty (30) days.
2.2 Functional Technologies
These technologies are stored in your browser's local or session storage to remember your choices and activity on the Services. They are not transmitted to us automatically.
- Pop-up preferences
- Record whether you have joined our email list or dismissed the email pop-up, the time you have spent browsing, the pop-up notifications you have seen or dismissed during a visit, and your own recent orders, so that notifications appear at appropriate times and never display your own purchase to you.
- Recently viewed products
- Record the products you have viewed so that they may be displayed to you again.
- Review feedback
- Store a random identifier so that you may mark a given review as helpful only once.
- Checklists
- Record the items you have checked on our lost vape checklist.
- Form continuity
- Carry an email address entered in a pop-up to the sign-up form within the same browser tab.
2.3 Analytics and Performance Technologies
- Visit measurement
- A randomly generated visitor identifier, a session identifier and a date record, stored in local storage for our own first-party visit measurement. This information also supports the aggregate figures displayed on the Services, such as the number of individuals viewing a product, and enables the prize wheel to recognize a browser that has already participated. It does not involve cookies, IP addresses or names.
- Visit source
- A first-party record in local storage of the link, advertisement or website through which you arrived, which is attached to any order you place so that we may measure which of our links and advertisements lead to purchases. Duration: ninety (90) days.
- Analytics
- Cookies, local storage and session storage set by our analytics service providers to recognize your browser across visits and to associate page views, interactions and session recordings with a single visit. Duration: up to one (1) year. The information collected is described in our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Advertising Technologies
When we advertise, pixels, cookies and similar technologies provided by our advertising partners are used on the Services to record the pages and products you view and the actions you take, to attribute visits and purchases to our advertisements, to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements and to display our advertisements to you on other services, as further described in our Privacy Policy. These technologies are not loaded on account, order, support, sign-in, help or policy pages, and are not loaded in a browser in which you have opted out or that transmits a Global Privacy Control signal. Duration: up to thirteen (13) months.
2.5 Third-Party Payment and Sign-In Providers
If you sign in with a third-party account or select a third-party payment method, such as a digital wallet or a buy-now, pay-later service, that provider may set cookies on its own website or within its own payment window, subject to its own policies.
3. Your Choices
3.1 Browser Privacy Signals and Analytics Setting
If your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, our third-party analytics do not collect or transmit any information from that browser. You may also disable analytics in your current browser using the setting below, which disables both our third-party analytics and our first-party visit measurement in that browser. Orders, sign-ups and support requests continue to be recorded, as they are necessary to operate the Services, and our servers continue to report those events to our analytics service providers in association with your account or email address.
Analytics in this browser
This setting is stored in your current browser only. It must be applied separately on each browser and device you use, and again after you clear your browsing data.
3.2 Advertising Setting
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of its processing for targeted advertising, in your current browser using the setting below. When you opt out, the advertising technologies described in Section 2.4 are not loaded in that browser, and our servers do not transmit information to advertising partners regarding orders placed from it. If you are signed in when you opt out, your opt-out is also recorded on your account and applies to orders you place while signed in on any device. If your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, we treat that signal as an opt-out for that browser, and the setting below displays as disabled.
Advertising in this browser
Opting out does not prevent advertising partners from displaying our advertisements to you based on information they obtain independently of the Services.
3.3 Browser Controls
Most browsers permit you to block or delete cookies and other site data through their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the shopping cart and sign-in may not function properly. Instructions for the principal browsers are available at the following links:
Clearing site data also resets the functional technologies described in Section 2.2.
4. Changes to This Cookies Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The updated Cookies Policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
5. Questions
